1. Scope and acceptance
These App Terms apply when you download, access, or use the OmaLeima mobile app. They apply together with the Privacy Notice and any event-specific rules shown by the organiser, venue, or business.
The public website is governed by separate Terms of Use. A written organiser, club, venue, or business agreement may add terms for that party's operational relationship with OmaLeima.
2. Provider and event roles
OmaLeima is provided by the service provider identified above. The app may also display event-specific information from an organiser, club, venue, or business that has its own responsibilities and rules.
- Controller / service provider: T:mi Aslan Dogan Marketing
- Business ID: 3346878-5
- Email: contact@omaleima.fi
- Phone: 045 124 2459
- Address: Sarvivälkkeentie 3 C 27, 90240 Oulu
3. App service and event content
The app provides digital stamp passes, event discovery or registration, QR presentation and scanning, leima progress, leaderboard or reward status, organiser operations, push notifications, support, and related account features. Availability and exact features depend on the event and the role assigned to your account.
A reward, patch, discount, product, or venue benefit is fulfilled by the responsible organiser or business unless the app explicitly says otherwise. OmaLeima does not guarantee that every event, checkpoint, reward, or venue will be available at every time.
4. Account, eligibility, and access
You are responsible for activity carried out through your account unless you promptly report unauthorised access. We may ask for verification before changing account ownership or deleting data.
- Use an email address and profile information that you are authorised to use.
- Keep your account credentials, device, scanner access, and any operator PIN confidential.
- Follow the event, venue, safety, age, alcohol, queue, and reward rules shown by the responsible organiser or business.
- Do not share a personal QR pass, impersonate another participant, or use a screenshot or replayed token to obtain a stamp or reward.
- You must be eligible for the relevant event or feature under the organiser's and venue's rules. The app is not directed at children.
5. QR passes, scans, and rewards
QR passes and scanner actions are validated on the backend. Tokens may expire, refresh, be bound to an account or event, or be rejected when replayed, duplicated, out of scope, or otherwise unsafe. A successful visual scan does not itself create a right to a reward if the backend validation fails.
The organiser or business sets event participation requirements, checkpoint rules, reward availability, and fulfilment details. Contact the event operator first for an event-specific dispute; contact OmaLeima support when the issue concerns the app, account, QR validation, or platform operation.
6. User content and media
If you upload a photo, video, profile image, or other material, you confirm that you have the right to provide it and that the material does not unlawfully infringe another person's rights. You retain ownership of your material.
You grant OmaLeima a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, resize, display, and technically process the material only as needed to provide, secure, moderate, support, and improve the relevant app or event feature. You can request deletion where the Privacy Notice and applicable controller responsibilities allow it.
Do not upload sensitive, unlawful, abusive, or unrelated personal data. If a photo includes another identifiable person, obtain any permission required for the intended event use.
7. Prohibited use and security
Security and event-integrity controls may temporarily reject an action or require a review. Deliberate abuse may lead to suspension and, where appropriate, a report to the organiser, venue, provider, or authority.
- Do not attempt to bypass authentication, QR validation, rate limits, role checks, or server-side security controls.
- Do not automate scans, create duplicate accounts, manipulate leaderboard or reward data, or interfere with event operations.
- Do not upload malware or content that is unlawful, discriminatory, threatening, invasive, or intended to harm another person.
- Do not use the app to collect or expose another person's data beyond the event purpose and your lawful role.
8. Organiser and venue responsibility
Organisers, clubs, venues, and businesses remain responsible for the event rules, participant notices, age and access controls, alcohol and safety compliance, staff instructions, reward promises, and fulfilment that they determine. Their content may be subject to separate terms and privacy notices.
OmaLeima provides technical infrastructure and does not replace the organiser's duty to run a lawful and safe event. If an event rule conflicts with mandatory law, the mandatory law applies.
9. Availability and updates
The app may require an internet connection for sign-in, QR validation, event status, and rewards. Features can be unavailable because of maintenance, network coverage, device limits, provider outages, event configuration, or security controls.
We may release updates, change features, or discontinue a feature for operational, security, legal, or product reasons. We will take reasonable steps to provide important updates needed for security or conformity where required by applicable law.
10. Suspension and deletion
You can stop using the app and request account or associated-data deletion through the in-app support flow or by contacting us. The Privacy Notice explains deletion, identity verification, and records that may need to be retained.
We may suspend or restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect users, an event, the platform, or legal rights, including suspected credential compromise, fraud, abuse, or a serious breach of these terms. Where appropriate, we will explain the reason and a route to contact support.
11. App rights and licence
OmaLeima and its licensors own the app, software, service design, trademarks, and platform materials. Subject to these terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app for its intended event and account purposes.
You may not copy, sell, sublicense, reverse engineer, extract, or commercially exploit the app except where mandatory law permits it or we give written permission.
12. Privacy and permissions
Personal-data processing is described in the Privacy Notice. By continuing to use the app after the required acknowledgement, you confirm that you have had access to the Privacy Notice and these App Terms. Device permissions are requested separately and can be managed in device settings.
13. Consumer and digital-service rights
The app is supplied with the mandatory conformity, update, consumer, and digital-service rights that apply under Finnish law. Nothing in these terms removes a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.
If you have a problem with the app, contact support promptly with the account, device, event, and approximate time needed to investigate. We may need to ask for limited technical details; do not send passwords or secret tokens.
14. Liability and third-party services
To the extent permitted by mandatory law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, an organiser's or venue's event decision, reward fulfilment controlled by a third party, network failure, or a device problem that is outside our reasonable control.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability, consumer remedies, or other rights where Finnish law does not permit that exclusion. Third-party platforms such as Apple, Google, Supabase, Expo, and Cloudflare may have their own terms and privacy notices.
15. Governing law and disputes
A consumer may use the Finnish consumer-advice and dispute-resolution channels available under applicable law. The current version and effective date appear at the top of this page.
- Finnish law applies, subject to mandatory consumer-protection rules.
- Contact OmaLeima first so we can try to resolve an app or account issue directly.
- For a dispute involving an organiser, venue, business, reward, or event rule, contact that responsible party as well.
- The EU Online Dispute Resolution platform was discontinued on July 20, 2025 and is no longer available as a dispute channel.
